The Journal of Research & Design (REDE) is seeking enthusiastic and qualified individuals to join our team in various editorial roles, including Editor, Editorial Board Member, Copyeditor, and Language Editor.
About the Opportunity
As a non-profit academic journal, REDE is dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary research in design and innovation. While we do not charge publication fees or provide financial remuneration for editorial roles, we offer invaluable professional development opportunities for our team members.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from researchers at all career stages, including early-career academics. Passion and enthusiasm for contributing to the academic community are just as important as experience or academic titles.
Available Roles:
- Editors: Responsible for tasks such as initial manuscript evaluation, identifying reviewers, and making acceptance/rejection decisions based on reviewer feedback.
- Copyeditors: Ensure manuscripts meet formatting standards and comply with the journal’s style guide.
- Language Editors: Review and correct manuscripts for proper English usage.
All team members are regarded as valued representatives of JRDE, contributing to the promotion and visibility of the journal globally.

Qualifications Required:
- Strong communication skills and fluency in written English.

- Applications from Europe, America, and Australia are particularly encouraged, although candidates from other regions are also welcome to apply.
